Office
Office space in a prime location in Kaartinkaupunki, right next to Kasarmintori and within a short walking distance of the Esplanadi. The space will be renovated and fitted with, among other things, unit-specific cooling. It includes open-plan area, smaller meeting rooms and offices, a kitchen area, and restrooms. The premises have two entrances: one from the Rikhardinkatu side and another via an access-controlled elevator from Kasarmikatu. The building also has shower facilities available for tenants.
The property consists of two connected heritage buildings with an internal connection and a shared inner courtyard. Rikhardinkatu 2 dates from 1891 and was designed by architect Carl Rupert Rosenberg. Kasarmikatu 42 was designed by professor J.S. Sirén and completed in 1933. Sirén also designed the Finnish Parliament House.
Between 2018 and 2023, the buildings underwent an extensive renovation that included a full pipe renovation (linjasaneeraus) and a complete overhaul of the building's technical systems. The property has been awarded a BREEAM In-Use Very Good certification.
The ground floor of the building houses both a café and a restaurant. Several other restaurants and services in the city center are also located nearby.
